Sweet Agenda Cakes prides itself on creating custom sugar art cakes, cupcakes and cookies that are specifically designed for your special occasion. We aim to keep prices as low as possible by adopting sleek and modern cake designs that focus on celebrations catering for approximately 12 to 100 guests. Our fondant cakes are only made available in round sizes and a maximum of two-tiers. This keeps the structural design of the cake as simple as possible, which means a cheaper price for our customers.

Once we know the number of guests you are catering for and your budget, clients then get to choose how elaborate the cake decorations will be when discussing the final design. Whether you choose a bouquet of hand-made fondant flowers or a cute fondant figurine topper, everyone can add that bit of luxury to their special event which is usually only reserved for expensive weddings.  Sweet Agenda Cakes has adopted these specific design elements that ensure that your cake, cupcakes and cookies are made as fast as possible while still showing unique eye-catching details that are sure to be a talking point at your next celebration.

Because each client’s order will have its own unique design and requirements that will influence the end quote, we do not have a standard price list. All quotes are free and based on the planning and design of the order, the size of the cake and/or number of cupcakes and cookies required, artistic labour involved and the time it takes to execute the design. We are always happy to create a beautiful product that is within your event budget.

Your Design

 

Customising your design without Copying:

Each design element is discussed between the client and the cake decorator during the consultation process. Although clients are encouraged to provide Sweet Agenda Cakes with as many sources of inspiration as possible for the design of their cake, cupcakes or cookies, we DO NOT COPY other people’s designs due to copyright laws. However, all design elements inspired by photos etc., can be negotiated in order to meet the needs of the client whilst maintaining a customized and unique design.
Clients requesting designs that involve licensed characters (such as Bob the Builder, Wiggles, etc.) may require thorough discussion of the design in order to avoid possible legal ramifications, whilst also meeting the needs of the client. 

Cake Size 

 

What size cake tiers will I need?

Provide us with the number of guests to feed, and we will recommend the appropriate size to feed your guests. Certain styles work better with select proportions. If you have a preference for the number of tiers desired, please let us know. Please note that we only create cakes with a maximum of 2 tiers.

Cake Portion sizes:

A dessert portion is approximately 5cm x 2.5 x the height of the cake and a coffee portion is approximately half that size.  If you want to serve generous portions, or if you are serving the cake as a course on its own, dessert portions are advised. Keep in mind that if you are serving other desserts or if your guests will be full from the event’s main meals, the coffee sized portioning will probably be preferred.

Orders of cakes that are 6” or 7” can be made taller than the standard size in order to increase the number of slices served.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate ALLERGY-FREE requests. We are also unable to guarantee that our cakes, cupcakes and cookies do not have nuts, eggs, dairy, wheat and other food allergens present.  

Pick Up Only

Do you deliver?

Sweet Agenda Cakes provides as a Pick Up service only. We are based in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

*We will only consider delivery in surrounding Sydney cities for Wedding Events. This decision is made at the discretion of Sweet Agenda Cakes. Cost will be provided upon application.

Storing, Transporting & Serving Information

 

Storing Cakes

Each cake order will have a varying shelf life dependent on weather and storing conditions.
As a general guideline, you should be able to store your cake*:

  • Summer -  up to 4 days after collecting the cake
  • Autumn – up to 1 week after collecting the cake
  • Winter – up to 2 weeks after collecting the cake
  • Spring – up to 1 week after collecting the cake
*This is provided that you have provided the appropriate storing conditions for your cake, as follows:
  • Store your decorated cake in a cool dry place (up to 20 degrees).
  • Sunlight saturation will fade the colour of the icing and too much heat may cause your cake and decorations to droop or melt. By mindful about where you store and set up your cake in the warmer months. 
  • DO NOT refrigerate your cake before your event, as the damp environment will cause the fondant to “sweat” and become soggy. If you are concerned about the heat, keep the cake in an air-conditioned room until time to set it up.
  • Keep your cake inside the cake box until ready to set up. If your cake box lid does not close due to the size of figurine toppers on top of the cake, the opening can be covered with Cling Wrap in order to protect the fondant from the elements (such as rain, dust etc.).
  • Once the cake is cut, please store in the fridge (inside an air tight container). Take notice of the storing conditions you have kept the cake in as this will determine how well it will keep fresh. If unsure, consume your cake within 24 hours of collecting it from Sweet Agenda Cakes.
  • Keep your fondant cake away from water. Water leaves permanent imprints on the icing. 
  • DO NOT leave your cake in the car for any amount of time other than transporting it. 

Storing Cupcakes

For Fondant Cupcakes, please refer to the storing conditions outlined in the “Storing Cakes” section.
For Buttercream Cupcakes, provide the appropriate storing conditions for your cupcake, as follows:
  • Store your buttercream cupcake in a cool dry place (up to 20 degrees) before and during your event.
  • Keep your cupcakes inside the cake box until ready to set up. If your cupcake box lid does not close due to the size of any figurine toppers on top of the cupcake, the opening can be covered with Cling Wrap in order to protect the fondant and buttercream from the elements (such as rain, dust etc.).
  • Once the cupcake is cut open, please store in the fridge (inside an air tight container).
  • Cupcakes will stay fresh in the fridge up to 2 days after collection from Sweet Agenda Cakes.
  • Take notice of the storing conditions you have kept the cupcakes in as this will determine how well it will keep fresh. If unsure, consume your cupcakes within 24 hours of collecting it from Sweet Agenda Cakes. 
  • DO NOT leave your cupcakes in the car for any amount of time other than transporting them. 

Storing Cookies

  • Store your decorated cookies in a cool dry place (up to 20 degrees) before and during your event.
  • Cookies should stay fresh for up to 2 weeks from time of collection from Sweet Agenda Cakes, dependent on storing environment and temperatures. 
  • Cookies can be refrigerated after event.

 

Transporting your Cake, Cupcakes and/or Cookies:

It is best to put a non-slip rubber mat under the cake board and on a flat surface, to prevent the cake moving around. If you don’t have a secure non-slip rubber mat, it is at your discretion to ask someone to assist you on your collection. If there are any damages to your goods during the transportation process, Sweet Agenda Cakes MAY assist you over the phone or via email with suggestions on what you could do to fix them. However, please note that Sweet Agenda Cakes is NOT OBLIGED to do so. 

Sweet Agenda Cakes is not responsible for the transportation of your cake, cupcakes, or cookies order and is not liable for any breakages once the cake has left its premises.
